Ananda yoga explores the subtle dimensions of yoga with asana/postures and emphasizes the importance of breath and energy. Each class moves from the physical-asanas-to the subtle-meditation-using pranayama/breathwork and inward focus/ through concentration on pose alignment and energy.
Our goal is to awaken energy in the subtle body and to direct that energy upward to energize our meditation.
Acessible to all levels and especially welcoming to beginners, each class will incorporate yoga philosophy, asana, pranayama and meditation.
